This is the novel that kicked off the summer for me. It was way before I got completely fed up with novels set in Cornwall. Seriously, what was it with Cornwall in popular novels this year..? I've never been to Cornwall, but I felt like I'd never escape from it.
This is the best romance of the year, I think - with a cast of unmistakably Colganish characters that you're glad to spend lots of time with. And there's a terrific Puffin-based sub-plot that had me sniffling.
